Bio

Daniel Waide is a farm raised and football hardened litigator originally from Clay County, Mississippi. Daniel has been litigating cases all over Mississippi – from motorcycles wrecks, car crashes and falls to Title VII and McArn to Constitutional based discrimination and excessive force cases. To date Daniel has orally argued multiple cases in the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Mississippi Supreme Court.

Daniel has litigated cases in Court houses from the Mississippi Coast to the Tennessee Line, Texas, Oklahoma, and even Miami. Daniel has successfully litigated cases against some of the largest corporations in the World, local governments, and the United States government.

Daniel’s practice is just like life on the farm and the grid iron – a grind – and he would not have it any other way. Some days begin while the sun is still asleep and end long after sundown. On the farm you often wrestle animals that don’t see things the same way you do…much like Defendants in civil litigation require a little wrangling.

Daniel’s practice strives to achieve the mandate of Isaiah 1:17:

Learn to do good;
seek justice,
correct oppression;
bring justice to the fatherless,
plead the widow’s cause.

At the end of the day, what matters the most is seeking justice for clients and protecting the community from greedy corporations, insurance companies, and government overreach.

A 2010 Mississippi College School of Law graduate, Daniel finished his college football career while enrolled in his first two years of law school – law school by day and the trenches of the defensive line in the evenings and college football Saturdays. Now Daniel lives in Sumrall, Mississippi, with his wife and three children. If you show up to the house, you may find Daniel on the tractor, hitting pop flies to his sons, or being a goalie so that his daughter can work on her penalty kicks for soccer.
